I think Rene is trying to save testers from having to install Git itself. We could of course ask them to get 0install, and do everything automatically from there. That's where I hope to be eventually, but I presume we don't want to take that leap along with the Git leap(?) It's certainly easy enough to set up... -- Dave Abrahams
