I'm not sure what you mean here. But here is what I do. I use MS visual studio for all my projects. Each solution includes a bunch of projects (typically 10-50). Dependencies are set up so that whenever I make a change anywhere, all dependent tests are re-built. After each test is built - a post build step runs the test automatically. Of course I can run any test right from the IDE as well. I don't know if that qualifies as a "gui to launch tests" but it works very well. The idea was take from the boost.test documentation.
