Personally I prefer to call a spade a spade, a circle a circle and a rectangle a rectangle. "Two dimensional hypershepere"??? "Two dimensional paralleloflange"??? "Quadropoint cultivational utensil"!!! Yes, a library that works in arbitrary dimensions is useful to more people than one that's limited to 2 or 3 dimensions. But it _must_ be done without this sort of vocabulary. Can you imagine the reaction of someone who learnt what "square", "rectangle" and "circle" meant aged 4 and now "just wants a simple library to do some graphics", when faced with the parallelotope?
