They are regressions caused by recent work on speeding up the compiler, and they *will* be fixed before the release. Please, make sure to specify that Boost is broken because of these bugs.
I believe we should not commit any GCC 3.4-specific workarounds until after GCC 3.4 is finalized. It hides compiler bugs that we still have a chance to get fixed. Doug
