Perhaps we should consider a team approach to release management. One person concentrate on regression tests, another on patch management, a third on webmaster activities.

That way when it comes to putting the actual release together, the release manager won't be as frazzled.

A great idea! IMO it's still too much for one person to overview just the regression tests. (Sometimes I've problems even with my few results... ;-) ) It's still a miracle for me how Aleksey managed to do so many (different) things for the last release without losing his head. Stefan
