[boost] Status of Boost.Atomic?

What's the status of Boost.Atomic? http://www.chaoticmind.net/~hcb/projects/boost.atomic/ This looks like some very interesting code that would be of interest to a number of boost users (besides, it would be nice to stop abusing boost/interprocess/detail/atomic.hpp).
