I've made source changes to accommodate Comeau.

Now even static libraries fail to compile on with this compiler.

Is this the intention or am I missing something.

You're missing something - including the auto-link code with commeau will *have no effect* - so whatever the problem is, it's unlikely to be auto-linking. John.
