AFAIK we're not accepting new libraries unless they use the Boost license.

I was thinking of the license of the algorithm itself, in my second question. Can anyone implement Md5 under the Boost license? Is there another similar algorithm in Boost, that is completely free? Can it give 128 bits? /$
