Hello Michael I\m very interesting in this. I'm thinking, that this libraries could be implemented in 2 parts. First - collection of parsers, that could be used to build protocol-specific parsers (implementing requirements of RFC 2045-2049), and second - implementation of connection/communication strategies. On the base of these 2 parts, it possible to implement almost all protocols.
