Yes. I have repeatedly pointed out another (much more natural) solution for the problem of wholesale migrations (modularity !), which unfortunately didn't receive the required support to be considered seriously.

Please have a look at my second proposal at [1] and let me know what you think (on that thread if possible). I suggest we all start working together on a solution and see what good can come out of it.
