I think if Boost.Test cannot be built as DLL on msvc-6.5, then: <toolset>msvc-6.5:<link>static should go to libs/test/build/Jamfile.v2, not the test Jamfile, thereby disabling shared libraries of Boost.Test on that compiler completely. Gennadiy, would you object to such a change? - Volodya
