[boost] [1.40] OK to patch docs on release branch?

Is it still Ok to patch the docs on the release branch? I have one small patch for the Boostbook docs (currently they produce invalid Docbook XML :-( ), and one for the doc/pdf/Jamfile.v2. Cheers, John.
