Yes, I've avoided boost for many, many years, because it was so hard to compile and install right. The ONLY reason I now finally started to use it, is because my dist (fedora) have made rpms for it. Without ready to go packages, I wouldn't use boost. I can imagine that for developers who need bleeding-edge boost, this is (still) something very painful. -- Carlo Wood <carlo@alinoe.com>
