Per the schedule, building a release candidate for the beta will begin tomorrow. There are still a few hours left for merging emergency bug fixes that are stable in trunk, with a release manager's permission. But that's being charitable. We need to let tests cycle overnight and move forward. This is a beta, after all, and not the final release. branches/release will reopen for bug fixes as soon as the beta ships.
