There also appears to be some kind of issue with Sandia's Python installation, or their gettext library. I can't tell exactly what the issue is, but these link errors are not Python library bugs. There may be something we can do in Boost.Build, but I need Sandia to tell us what (e.g. "link with libxxxx").

Hi Dave, It appears that all the missing symbols are in /usr/lib/ libreadline.so.4.3 on our system. -- Noel
