Hi Olaf,
Thanks for the update.
I have never heard about transitioning from SVN to Git on the boost server machine. I am wondering how the transition could happen without the sysadmin's access though.
To the boost group people, do you have any specific plan for this transition?

Hi,
AFAIK Boost is currently transitioning to Git for version control. I hit some roadblocks when trying the conversions of Trac to Chili or Redmine and thought it'd be better to wait until the transition to Git is complete. Simplest thing to do might be to move Trac without conversion to the new host if the old server gets too old.

What is the status of the transition of Boost's bug tracking system? The current server is quite old and my boss and I need to decide what to do pretty soon.

Thanks. Given that I don't have a password, how do I use sudo?
$ sudo -s
We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:
#1) Respect the privacy of others. #2) Think before you type. #3) With great power comes great responsibility.
[sudo] password for boostadmin:
$ passwd Changing password for user boostadmin. Changing password for boostadmin. (current) UNIX password: passwd: Authentication token manipulation error $
