What specific usage do you refer to? Note that any use of forceinline is through other documented, possibly user-defined macros. The relevant macro is BOOST_LA_INLINE_CRITICAL. It is unspecified which functions use it but it is a safe bet that to get any reasonable performance, those functions should end up inlined.
