Do you know stock autoconf macro which finds Python headers?
Sorry, but it does not work. After lots of errors, I see this output: results of the Python check: Binary: python2.3 Library: python2.3 Include Dir: /home/ghost/windows/cygwin2/usr/include/python2.3 Clearly, the path is as wrong as possibly could be. And the macros does not allow to specify the version of Python that I want. This is certainly fixable, but requires autoconf/M4 knowledge, so autoconf does not yet looks like a silver bullet. And if we need any configure system, it's better written in Python. - Volodya
