What purpose would that serve? A lot of Boost's functionality is covered by the Java standard library, and for the rest, the concepts don't map well to Java (try writing Java bindings to MPL...).
But wouldn't your arguments apply to the existing python bindings in the same way?
Anyway, that suggestion wasn't meant too serious. (More precisely, I know too little about this subject for being able to judge whether this suggestion could make sense or not.)
I confess, I do not know anything about the existing python bindings. I'm aware of a library called Boost.Python, but my understanding is that this is a library for creating python bindings to any C++ library, rather than being python bindings for Boost itself. Could you provide a link to the existing python bindings? Thanks, Nate
