Well, not its almost march.
Would this be a good time to merge these changes in? I test on my own machine with MSVC 7.1, MSVC 8.0 and gcc 3.4?. But I would be curious to know how it works with other compilers. When would be a good time to merge in these changes?
FWIW, Robert asked me privately if this trunk change would be any impact on 1.35.0. AFAIK, it won't impact 1.35.0. --Beman
