Beman: the way to do this is select Group Admin -> Edit -> Group Name
It's actually even a bit worse than that. The full sequence is: Group Admin -> Change a group (Edit) -> Group Name -> (select) for the group you want -> select the
Then select (or deselect) the member you want to change.
And no, I didn't find this terribly intuitive either :-(
