Beman, FWIW, Christopher has previosly asked me to retain V1 Jamfiles for asio, and for the libs asio depends on -- namely system and thread. I am not quite sure that branch you've checked this in, and what are you planning to do with that branch -- you might want to check with Christopher if you plan to merge this to trunk. - Volodya
