Seems like there is a dll configuration problem with VC8 causing 1/2 the tests to fail -- is this what's 'hanging'?
no, it's the same thing I had on VC7.1 the date stream input...and the test seems to think that 8.0 will pass... it doesn't
I see it now. Apparently there is either a boost macro configuration in 7.1 that is preventing this that needs to be ported to 8.0, or Microsoft has introduced a bug in the stream library in the 8.x beta. I don't see anything in the boost config -- maybe we should submit a beta bug report? Jeff
