The Typeof library has been moved back one in the review queue because it still needs a review manager volunteer. Contact Tom Brinkman at reportbase@gmail.com to volunteer.
I would be happy to be review manager for this library, though I dont quite know what is involved, and I am heavily biased in favour of the library. OTOH if anyone else wishes to do it please dont let me stand in your way... Also I guess I should get approval (or not) from Arkadiy Vertleyb and Peder Holt...
You have my approval at least :)
Ok... I have sent a mail to Tom Brinkman and I am reading up on the duties involved. I assume you are happy with the dates...( I am speculating roughly 20th May - 30 th May) ? AFAIK there is a huge amount of interest in this subject, (see http://www.osl.iu.edu/~jajarvi/publications/papers/decltype_n1478.pdf )
From looking in the sandbox,
http://boost-sandbox.sourceforge.net/vault/, typeof.zip. appears to be currently the 3rd most popular download, which is good bearing in mind that FOREACH is top and has just been reviewed. I appeal to everyone that they will be able to take the time to provide feedback on this proposal.. ( review dates yet to be decided but hopefully around about 20th to 30th of May) ...which provides something like the functionality of the decltype and auto proposals cited above, and even with little compile time cost on some compilers.. regards Andy Little
