Hi, Dave. I've assigned to you ticket #2114: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/2114. It contains patches against boost.build and boost that provide ability to build boost (using gcc, darwing toolsets) with hidden symbols visibility, i.e. only specially marked symbols (like BOOST_LIBNAME_DECL) are exported from shared libraries.
