Arash, libraries, e.g. wykobi, and in most textbooks on geometry, and in every spatial database, and can be used to figure out things like diameter. Therefore I consider it as basic.
In short this is a discussion about the applicability and fitness of a polygon library, not a "mine-is-better-than-yours" debate.
If you've read all my mails I tried to avoid exactly that, giving objective statements and objective measurements. Regards, Barend
