Hi Joachim,
I am going to address the issues you raised piecemeal in a sequence of importance that I consider for them. Generalized addition, subtraction and intersection operators are at the heart of the library.
Thanks again for your long answer, a week ago. Unfortunately I did not have any time last week or this weekend to continue with this, nor with Phil his question on a variation of my timings. However, I think you addressed the things I mentioned in my comments clear enough. Regards, Barend
