To summarize, a little bit more introduction would have helped me get going faster.
Sigh... sadly the Random number library is in serious need of a face-lift, and it's author is rairly around here these days - not that we can blame him for that - Boost shouldn't be a life sentence - but we could really use someone experienced to give the library a makeover. John.
