This is theoretically fine. In practise I have a very long list of things to do just within the SI framework. Something has to be low priority and because this is well outside the current scope of the library, non-decimal prefixes is probably going to be low priority unfortunately.
Do you see a clear path to getting there? If so, perhaps others would be able to work on it. -Dave
