it's possible to view DocBook XML. Not particularly pretty, but beats looking at the raw XML. There seem to be other CSS stylesheets for DocBook as well.
Great! Once we settled down with a particular look & feel we can easily hack this stylesheet to look similar to it. I have download the this css and this seems pretty easy. Best regards Matias
