Strange. Which version of python are you using exactly? And do you know how your python installation was cofigured?
I was using Python 2.3.4. It was configured without any special options except for --prefix=/usr/local_cci/Python-2.3.4. A year ago or so David and I spent a lot of time rearranging the include statements in Boost.Python to avoid the warnings you reported. I have no idea why they still appear in your build.
