Dear Boost Community, I hope you’re all doing well. My name is Eslam, and I’m a student at Al-Azhar university in Cairo,Egypt, I have a strong interest in open source development. I’ve been programming in C and C++ for several years, primarily solving algorithmic challenges on platforms like Codeforces and LeetCode (2000+ problems solved), but I haven’t yet had the opportunity to contribute to large open-source projects. I recently joined this mailing list because I want to get involved in open-source development, and Boost is one of the most respected C++ projects out there. I would love to learn from this community and contribute in any way I can.
I also wanted to ask: Does Boost plan to participate in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) this year? If so, I’d be very interested in learning about potential project ideas and how I can get started with contributions.

Eslam, Unfortunately I don't think Boost will this year; we only had interest from 2 potential sponsors. Also, in an email to prospective organizations Google stated that they wanted projects focused on the AI/ML space. Regardless if you'd like to volunteer with Boost we have this mailing list and a Slack workspace: https://cppalliance.org/slack/. There are 180+ libraries to look though so I'm sure you'll find something of interest. Matt
