Whats the purpose of TR2? I mean, it is supposed to be released after c++0x. So the extensions presented there will be part of the next standard, like c++1x? So again nearly 10 years later? Or will there be more frequent c++ standard releases?
At this point it is unknown which will release first, TR2 or C++0X. Regardless, the purpose of TR2 is to continue in a tradition of having a continual supply of libraries which have been vetted for possible future standardization. -Howard
