My personal preference is fully qualified reference everywhere. And I don't see how other solution is any better.
Whatever... Just fix the thing!
That's great! First you say don't do a thing, than - why you did not do it yet. I had enough headache with things that were "sure thing". I did not touch anything I am not 100% sure about. Gennadiy.
