I think it would be best that changes to RC_1_33_0 be confined to bug fixes detected in 1.33.1 and that new features be checked into the HEAD. I consider something like this to be a new feature. Robert Ramey Doug Gregor wrote:

Typically one would just use:

./configure --prefix=/where/to/install make make install

Run "./configure --help" for more options.
