They are more readable, however, and I find them sufficiently distinguished from the surrounding text.
I just changed the link colors to their websafe versions. I can't see any difference on my browser, but it may make things more consistent across different browsers/OS's. It could be that you've been seeing different colors. Hopefully this will fix that.
