FYI.. It's something wrong with the check C program itself, not the BB layer on top of it. And I can see msvc-14.0, sun-stlport, gcc- 4.9.2~c14, and gcc- 5.1~c14 showing the problem :-(

You can look at the VMD tests to see when it is not working there. The failures due to predef-check not w0rking properly are occurring on Android with gcc 4.8 and 4.9, SunOS with Oracle C++, Linux with IBM C++ compiler, and Windows with VC++14.
