OK, I hate to go off-tpoic here but WTF?
How can you claim to be a C++ expert and not have intimate knowledge of C# and.or Java?
I'm not a "boost expert", but I can write a language when I want to, and I certainly grok the differences between the CLR and Java JVM.
???
Ok, Christian, I don't really get why your reply is so negative. At least it feels that way. Anyway, I'll try answer your concerns, however off-topic. I didn't say I can't have the necessary knowledge of C# and/or Java to do whatever my job would require, I just say that I didn't invest any time for that yet because there was no such necessity. Nor had I found that to be a valuable investment to do that on my free time. Also, I didn't claim to be a C++ expert, I am way too far from that. If you are looking for some real C++ experts, I can suggest you to read the boost mailing lists systematically for a few months, and you'll find them for sure. Somewhat offended, Gevorg
