That's a good idea. Considering that I've only run this on 4 different systems, I don't have a good idea of what is platform-specific or not. At this point I have no platform-specific code, so I'll see what the reviewers find, and if it's platform-specific and a serious concern, I'll probably handle it as you suggest.
