But I admit that "..., let's work together in the future." can also just mean to continue to have fruitful discussion, without any plans to merge the resulting work. This is completely appropriate, of course.

Maybe it is good to state here that I this was what I meant, I did not mean merging, but let the separate libraries work together. Thanks for pointing this out. Barend
