Thank you that is very helpful and also explains why I am not on already.
I only started doing maintenance after the move from SVN to Git and so don't have an SVN log in.
I tried my Git login and it did not work.
Right.. But that page says:

Which doesn't mention SVN or GIT user IDs.

John: It does go on to say this: If your request for a userid is granted you'll receive an invitation to register from “SVNManager” and you'll have total freedom to choose your new userid and password. If your role includes Subversion access your SVN userid and pasword will be the same as your Trac userid and password. which is why I referred to SVN. John
