[boost] Short build question and program_options additional function

Hello all, The first question should be quick to answer: is there planning on adding universal binary support for OS X in the boost-build process? The second may take a little longer. I'm writing a little program, and a function that is neccessary may make a great addition to boost::program_options. It is the storing of the options in a file. The code I have would work for my purposes, but I'm not really happy with it. And I don't think that specific flaw would be acceptable for boost. So commented code is attached.
