That's the problem. No one seems to make an effort to read what I propose. My solution assumes that no testing is done during release, none whatsoever. Only components that already tested and individually released by developers will go into umbrella boost release.
That's what I'm proposing, too:-)
And, yes, in theory it shouldn't be necessary to explicitly test the release branch. In practice, stuff happens, so we will still need to test it.
Can you explain for me: 1. What is the release branch and why we need this notion? 2. What staff can happened so we will have to do testing during release? Gennadiy
