These failures are all due to an STLPort linker error: c_traits.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: static unsigned char * _STL::_Bs_G<bool>::_S_bit_count" (?_S_bit_count@?$_Bs_G@_N@_STL@@2PAEA) This is obviously not my bug.
