I've been trying to build boost on an amd64 machine under Debian Linux but it hangs trying to compile part of the wave library. Is it possible to skip building the wave library as a temporary work around (I am not familiar with jam)?
As you can see if you do "bjam --help". You can specify to skip building libraries with "bjam --without-wave", for example. -- -- Grafik - Don't Assume Anything -- Redshift Software, Inc. - http://redshift-software.com -- rrivera/acm.org - grafik/redshift-software.com -- 102708583/icq - grafikrobot/aim - Grafik/jabber.org
