I very much hope that this will be done from a Windows-centric users view - the previous version made assumptions about *nixy things and words that are entirely unjustified for Micro$ofties who have an expectation of using GUI throughout. It led to a long trail of woeful cries for help (and consumed a lot of support effort).
Excuse me? Did it drift into that condition? When I wrote the GSG I put a lot of effort into making sure there was a Micro$ofty version for windows users, and it was very quickly adjusted until there were almost no cries of confusion, so I'm very surprised to hear this. -- Dave Abrahams
