I'm surprised that the fix for https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/5944 is not in the beta release. I had asked Sebastian to close this ticket, and he did that before October 10 (which was the deadline for major code changes). The fix is in trunk since October 4 (see https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/changeset/74691). As the fix was checked in in time and as it's a one line change (OK, two with the #include) I even had contacted Sebastian for, I would appreciate if the beta release is updated.
Is it possible that other changes in trunk (checked in before October 10) are missing in this beta release, too?
Of course it's possible.. Since someone has to do the merging to release. It's not enough to make the changes in trunk.
And the "someone" who has to do the merge to release is normally the library maintainer.
Since the library maintainer may not be reading this thread, Boris might want to post a new message, with a subject line that begins [property_tree], to increase the likelihood that the problem gets addressed before final release.
I sent an email to Sebastian. Boris
