1. Is RHEL 5.5 supported? not sure, but it's easy to find out. In my project, we built boost 1.46.0 on 3 platforms: qnx6.4, debian(?), windowsXP/7. So I would believe it's o.k. with RHEL.
2. Is there a 64-bit support? In our debian build, it is 64bit. Please try building boost on whatever platform you want, it's not hard.

Hi,
I have read the Release notes. I wanted to confirm a few things with respect to Boost 1.47.0 :
1. Is RHEL 5.5 supported? 2. Is there a 64-bit support?
Please have a look here: http://www.boost.org/development/tests/release/developer/summary.html
It lists all unit tests for different compilers/platforms. Search for the compiler shipped with RHEL 5.5 and see whether the specific library you want to use is passing the tests. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe & other changes: http://lists.boost.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/boost
