I'm curious as to whether Redhat's version of gcc-4.0.1 has this patched. Anyone have a test to detect the problem?
This isn't strictly a compiler issue. It requires tight collaboration between compiler, linker, and (runtime) loader, i.e. the whole toolchain. FWIW. Regards, Stefan
