since gcc-4.3 has been released a short time ago, i'm curious about the plans for supporting it in boost 1.35 ...
the ticket tracker does contain a few patches for gcc-4.3, which haven't been included in the trunk, yet ... http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/query? status=new&status=assigned&status=reopened&summary=~4.3&order=priority
any plans to include them before 1.35 is out?
It is too late for 1.35.0. We are in the final stages of QA for that release, and the only code changes allowed will be for showstopper bugs.
too bad, so people are forced to use custom-patched boost libraries to use with gcc-4.3 :/ are there any plans to support gcc-4.3 in 1.35.1? most patches are trivial (http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.3/porting_to.html) and available from the tracker for some time ... best, tim -- tim@klingt.org http://tim.klingt.org All we composers really have to work with is time and sound - and sometimes I'm not even sure about sound.
